Discover the world's oldest wonders
Our Egypt tours arrive in the middle of another golden age for Egyptian archaeology, this one led by Egyptians themselves. Recently excavated tombs at Saqqara, the renovated Greco-Roman Museum in Alexandria and the long-awaited Grand Egyptian Museum have all changed what there is to see. Cairo sits at the apex of the Nile Delta, and just beyond its sprawl lie Memphis, capital of the Old Kingdom, and the vast cemeteries of Saqqara and Giza. South of there the Nile runs past Luxor and Karnak to the Valley of the Kings, Aswan and Abu Simbel, and between Esna and Aswan a traditional dahabiya reaches sites the larger boats cannot.
Each Egypt tour is built around one shared interest, whether that's archaeology, ancient history or gardens, and you travel with Egyptologists who love sharing it.
